Stepping into a Tecovas Store is a feast for the senses — the smell of fresh leather, a friendly smile to welcome you in, and comfortable furnishings invite you to stay awhile.

Our company was born out of a love for cowboy boots—particularly, the admiration held for them by our founder, Paul Hedrick. What he loved about them, everyone loves: authentic craftsmanship, rich materials that last generations, and timeless styling that always looks good. But what really makes them special is the feeling you get when you pull a great pair on. That feeling of comfort and confidence is what it’s all about, and it’s why we do things the way we do them.

We sat down with designer Kristopher Brock to talk about our collaboration, his Texan roots, how they inspired this collection, and his vision for bringing it to life.

Tecovas was founded in 2015 by Paul Hedrick, who merged his professional passion for entrepreneurism with his born-in-Texas love for cowboy boots.

The Austin Gamblers, the Capital of Texas’ professional bull riding (PBR) team, was newly created in 2022 to bring showstopping professional excitement to the time-honored tradition of rodeo bull-riding. And Tecovas is excited to be their partners to support this new chapter of rodeo athletes. Tecovas will serve as the official western boot sponsor for the team and the presenting sponsor for the annual Gambler Days, a three-day, action-packed PBR Teams event and fan fest held at the Moody Center every August.
