Most work boots are something you put on because you have to. We made a pair you'd actually reach for. If you've been looking for a boot that keeps you safe on the job and still looks good after it, with composite toe protection, waterproof leather, and slip resistance, this is it.
Right now, the women's Work Collection has two styles, both meet three ASTM certifications, available in tan and black:
- Women's LongHaul Waterproof Round Composite Toe Work Boot, a pull-on with a Western shaft and a round toe. Available in tan and black.
- Women's LongHaul Waterproof Lace-Up Composite Toe Work Boot, a lace-up for days when you want the fit dialed in tight and a little more ankle support. Available in tan and black.
Built for hard jobs and long days, both check every safety box: composite safety toe, waterproof leather, electrical hazard protection, oil and slip resistance. But they're made with the same care and craftsmanship that goes into every pair of Tecovas boots. That means full-grain cowhide leather, real Western style, and boots that feel better the more you wear them.
Whether you're on a job site, working a ranch, or just want a boot that can handle whatever your day throws at it, these are for you.

What Makes Women's Tecovas Work Boots Different
Here's what's inside every pair of the LongHaul Waterproof line:
Total Energy Command (TEC) Our TEC footbed harnesses the energy you put into each step and gives some of it back. After a long day on your feet, that matters more than most people realize until they try it.
Composite Safety Toe Meets ASTM F2413-24 I/C standards. If you're shopping for women's composite toe work boots, both the Round Toe and the Lace Up deliver lighter-than-steel protection.
Waterproof Construction For anyone searching for waterproof women's work boots, our treated cowhide leather plus a breathable moisture barrier keep your feet dry, whether you're walking through morning dew, mud, or a full-on downpour.
Electrical Hazard Protection (ASTM F2413-24 EH) Meets ASTM standards for protection against open electrical circuits. A feature you hope you never need, but are really glad to have.
Oil and Slip Resistant (ASTM F2413-24 SR) Among the most durable slip-resistant work boots for women on the market. Our Muckoff rubber outsole meets ASTM standards for slip resistance and features self-cleaning lugs that shed dirt and debris so you stay sure-footed on every surface, from barn floors to concrete.
Removable Footbed Swap it out for your own orthotic if needed, or just appreciate having the option.
Pull-On or Lace-Up: Which Women's LongHaul Is Right for You?
Both boots carry identical safety certifications, the same MuckOFF outsole, the same TEC footbed, and the same waterproof cowhide. The difference is how they fit and how they go on.
The Round Composite Toe Work Boot is the pull-on. Western shaft, round toe, no laces. A lot of folks go this way because they're in and out of their boots all day, or because they want a boot that looks like the cowgirl boots they already wear. Available in tan and black.
The Lace-Up Composite Toe Work Boot lets you dial in the fit and gives you a little more ankle support. Handy on uneven ground, on a ladder, on long days on concrete, or any time you want to cinch things down tight. Available in tan and black.
Either one will do the job. It comes down to how you like a boot to feel when you put it on.

Women's Work Boots vs. Cowboy Boots: What's the Difference?
Women get asked this a lot: Are cowboy boots the same as work boots? The short answer is no. But Tecovas women's work boots close the gap.
Standard cowboy boots are built for style and everyday wear. They're made with beautiful leather, a classic heel, and a pointed or snip toe. They're not designed to meet occupational safety standards.
The LongHaul Waterproof Round Composite Toe Work Boot looks and feels like a Western boot, with full-grain cowhide, a Western heel, and a pull-on shaft. But it's also ASTM-certified. Composite safety toe. Electrical hazard rating. Oil- and slip-resistant MuckOFF tread. Waterproof System. It meets the requirements for a wide range of job sites, ranches, and outdoor work environments.
So if you want a boot that looks like a cowgirl boot but works like a work boot, that's the one.
Cowgirl Work Boots: Western Style That Works
Plenty of women want a boot that keeps them safe on the job and still feels like theirs. If you work in agriculture, construction, a barn, or anywhere safety gear is required, you shouldn't have to set your boots aside to do it.
The LongHaul Waterproof Round Composite Toe Work Boot is made with the same cowhide leather and Western build as our cowgirl boots, with the safety certifications added in. Wear it on the job, then wear it out. It's built to do both.
And you don't need to work a ranch to wear it. Western boots have always been everyday boots first. They just happen to be tough enough for the hard days too.

Ways to Wear Them
Work boots don't have to stay on the job site. Once yours are broken in, you'll catch yourself grabbing them on a Saturday, on a trail, at a show, or on a run to the feed store. There's no formula here. Wear them however they fit your life. But if you're looking for a place to start, here's what we've seen work.
On the Job Both LongHaul styles are built for it. Composite toe, slip resistance, electrical hazard protection, waterproof leather. Wear them with whatever your work calls for. Some folks tuck their jeans into the shaft of the Round Toe, some wear denim over the top of the Lace-Up. Both are right.
Ranch and Outdoor Work The MuckOFF tread and waterproof leather earn their keep out here. These boots shed mud, handle rough ground, and keep your feet dry from morning chores through an afternoon in the field. The Round Toe in Tan with washed denim and a pearl snap is about as easy as it gets.
Everyday This is where a lot of women are surprised. Tan cowhide with straight-leg or wide-leg jeans works on a Saturday just as well as a Monday. The Lace-Up in Tan wears well with a flannel, a denim jacket, or a plain T-shirt. Wear them with a dress if that's your thing. The boots hold up their end either way.
Nights Out and Everything Else A broken-in pair of Western work boots has enough character for a night out, a country show, or a casual wedding. The Round Toe in Black is a favorite for that. Hat, buckle, embroidered shirt, or none of the above. Western is a big tent, and your boots belong in it however you want to wear them.
Breaking Them In Without Breaking Yourself
A few things that help:
Start with shorter stretches. Wear them around the house, on shorter days, or over a weekend before you take them into a 10-hour shift. Your feet will thank you.
Condition the leather early. A leather conditioner softens the upper and helps the boot conform to your foot faster. Apply before the first wear and again a few weeks in.
Thick socks help. They act as a buffer during the stiffest part of the break-in and help stretch the boot to your foot shape.
Give it two to three weeks. That's usually all it takes. After that, you'll forget they're work boots. They'll just feel like your boots.
