A Culture of Craft
Quality runs through everything we make and that starts with our heritage icon boots. We honor tradition with old-world construction methods, and our modern approach to leather finishing ensures our boots are soft and comfortable from the first time you pull them on.

Hand-Selected
Cowhide and Exotic Leathers
From cowhide and goat to ostrich and python, all of our hides are authentic and hand-checked for quality, character, and uniformity. You’re getting premium leathers from the finest tanneries in the world.

Hand-Wrapped Over
Our Signature Last
Our head of product design likes to say, “The last is first.” Our hand-selected leathers and tri-layer insole work because our signature last is a work of art. Perfected over time, it’s what brings that perfect fit.

Cut, Stitched, And
Hammered by Hand
Heritage bootmaking is how we started. From cutting and laying cording, to spreading cork footbeds and the hand-tapping in the final lemonwood peg, our heritage-made boots are crafted by artisans in León, Mexico.

Hand-Checked For
Quality and Construction
All of our boots are inspected by world-class bootmakers for quality and consistency. We have uncompromising standards for design and craftsmanship, and our partners at the end of the line uphold that promise.

A city named
Known as the leather-working capital of the world with a rich history of bootmaking, it’s no surprise we chose León, Guanajuato to produce our first designs for The Cartwright, The Jamie, and The Earl. From hand-selected premium hides to the final brushed stain on the heel and welt, Tecovas heritage icon boots have been handcrafted and finished in León, Mexico for over a decade.
A Company Of
Time doesn’t make something timeless—standards do. In León, hand leather-working is a skill passed down from each generation to the next as a birthright. When it comes to traditional bootmaking, Tecovas craftsmanship and quality honors the heritage of its makers.
