Now in its 7th year, Opry NextStage is an 11-month program designed to champion emerging artists with live performances on the big stage throughout the year. Alumni have gone on to chart no. 1 singles, headline arena tours, and earn CMA, ACM and Grammy awards. This is the place to discover the next big names in country music — and witness history in the making.
Opry NextStage is a multi-faceted 11-month program designed to invest in emerging artists and the future of Country Music. Created in 2019, NextStage leverages the Opry’s legendary history and renowned stage to reach new audiences. Every year, a class of talented up-and-comers is chosen to represent “Country’s Rising Sound.” This is the place to find country’s next big thing.
