- While Tecovas boots generally run true to size, fit can vary slightly based on the silhouette. >We recommend ordering this boot in the same size that you normally wear.
- You can also check out our Fit Guide for more general information on boot and apparel fitting. And of course, you can always reach out to one of our experts on the Customer Experience team.
- If you do need a different size, exchanges are free, fast, and easy.
Going with Goat?
Goat is a soft, supple alternative to calfskin. The softness of the hide paired with the oils in the leather means that these boots will begin to crease, patina, and weather from the first time you put them on. The result is a boot that ages very quickly for a vintage and worn look that takes days to establish instead of years.

Calfskin, Bovine, or Goat
The Cartwright stands on a stacked leather heel with a rubber end cap. It’s available in our classic, ultra-soft calfskin, bovine, or goat leather. Goat is rich with natural oils, so the boots will quickly earn an aged look.

Straight From The Golden Age
The Cartwright is a round toe boot in our classic Tecovas cowboy shape. The 12” shaft features hand-laid cording, the vamp is adorned with signature Tecovas toe stitching, and the 1½” angled, stacked leather heel is hand shaped to perfection.

Works Everyday, Every Way
The Cartwright is an everyday cowboy boot that will stand out with faded jeans, or add a touch of casual flair under dressier attire. Shine them up for an outdoor wedding, or kick ‘em around at a honky tonk. The Cartwright works wherever you want to take them.

Making The Cartwright
The western boot is an icon. We favor simple, timeless designs that never go out of style. Our boots are as in style today as they were 50 years ago, and will be 50 years from now. As we see it, tradition and confidence are always in, and that's what our designs stand for.
Any boot worth its own heel is made in León. From fine leathers and hand-laid cording to the individual placing of lemonwood pegs, it takes a team of artisans over 200 steps to make a single boot by hand. That’s quality you can truly feel.

We’ll always shoot you straight.
